Pinarc has had a long and distinguished presence in the Ballarat and Grampians Region of Victoria. Established in 1998 with the amalgamation of four service providers, Pinarc provides quality services to all our clients, carers and their families.

One of the most comprehensive and largest providers of services in the region, Pinarc provides various programs and activities to support and make a difference in people’s lives.

Pinarc acknowledges that people with a disability are still some of the most disadvantaged in the community. Pinarc sees its role as attempting to build the bridge between what people want and need and the resources that exist to provide those things. This requires Pinarc to be:

Pinarc continues to research and investigate programs that provide the best solutions and develop relationships in the community to increase awareness and access for all.

Mission

Our service enables people with a disability, their families and carers, to be equal and valued members of the community.

To make a positive difference for people with disabilities and children with developmental concerns by providing opportunities for them to maximise their potential.

We do this by facilitating flexible, needs based support; providing a range of specialist services; and, promoting inclusion and acceptance in the broader community.

Vision

Pinarc remains very proud of its Mission and Vision and continues to work towards a world where these things are a given.

When every person with a disability has the ability to live a life that they choose, which supports friendships, meaningful activities, adequate support and housing, where society values their contribution and the burden of care is spread so families are able to replenish their resources, then we are nearing the pinnacle.
