Support Coordinator - Melton

About the role 

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to work in our Support Coordination team based at our Melton office. The key objective of this role is to strengthen participant's ability to connect with, and maintain supports outlined within their NDIS plan. 

Activities include:

  • Exploring and linking to supports
  • Coordinating a range of supports (funded, mainstream and informal)
  • Monitoring participant's NDIS funding
  • Ensuring service delivery is of a satisfactory quality and resolving points of crisis
  • Ensuring participants are well equipped for program and funding reviews

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Support Coordination
  • Plan Implementation
  • Progress and monitoring
  • Maintaining relationships internal and external
Salary as per the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.

Casual Positions available based in Ballarat locations.

What does a disability support worker do at Pinarc?

You will support people with a disability to achieve their own self set goals and celebrate their aspirations alongside people as they achieve their goals. The Pinarc team will assist and develop you to support the wellbeing of our customers through a process that enables you to understand customer needs, preferences and interests.

The Active Living Options service offers 20 programs that people with disability can choose from. Some of these programs are; Day programs, Art, Music, Independent Living Skills, Camps, Youth Groups, Recreational programs, Social groups, After School Care and of course Holiday programs.

Kindergarten Additional Assistants- Bacchus Marsh, Ararat, Ballarat & Surrounding Areas

About the role 

We are looking for enthusiastic staff to work in our funded 4 year old kindergarten programs.  We have placements available  to support the inclusion and participation of all children within the kindergarten group. You will be expected to work in a collaborative manner with the kindergarten educator team. Ideally you will have experience within a kindergarten setting, including children with developmental delays and disabilities, and knowledge of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework. 

Duties include:
Assisting children with self-care tasks
Assisting with everyday tasks for program delivery for all children
Participate in staff planning meetings

Salary as per the Children’s Services Award 2010
